Twin sisters Lizzie and Kathryn Fortunato have seen their wildly coveted jewelry line featured in just about every major fashion magazine, including Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue, Elle, and Nylon. We created a website to showcase their collections, using custom collages to catalogue the various fashion, art, travel, and pop-culture influences that fuel the line’s luxe, hand-crafted aesthetic. We gave it the feel of a well-loved, personal scrapbook housed within a clean, highly organized structure.
Connecting directly with clients, fans, and friends is important to the Fortunato sisters and we designed their blog “Fortune Found” with this in mind. The site’s sharp lines and ease of navigation gives them lots of flexibility in posting photos, news and style inspiration.
In spring 2012, we helped them launch an attached e-commerce site where shoppers can get their jewelry fix. It’s a central e-shop for full collections, classic pieces, plus one-of-a-kind souvenirs and vintage finds. Small touches enrich the experience: next to each item is a “Lizzie Suggests” column to help buyers match accessories, and “Notes from the Studio” lets customers discover the story behind each piece.
